On the 26th of June 2023, Pro Secure SRU Team were on patrol in Star Street, Woodhurst.
They were stopped by a member of the public, who gave the officers the description of a suspect and advised that the suspect had stolen a grass cutting machine.
The suspect was spotted at the corner of Woodhurst Drive and Star Street by our SRU, who then gave chase together with members of the Woodhurst CPF.
SRU successfully apprehended the suspect, and the grass cutter was recovered, W/O Pillay from Chatsworth SAPS attended. The owner positively identified the grass cutter, and the suspect was charged.
