At 14h45 today, Pro Secure Montoring Center received an alert from a client in the Silverglen area.
The client informed our Monitoring Center that a neighboring property had been broken into, and they suspected that the perpetrators were still on the property.
The dedicated Armed Response Officer for the Silverglen area was immediately despatched.
Upon arrival, the Armed Response Officer was directed to the property where the break-in occurred, and access into the premises was given to the Armed Response Officer.
Upon searching the premises, he managed to apprehend a suspect who was hiding inside.
The suspect was handed over to SAPS Bayview for further investigation.
