Pro Secure Specialized Response Unit received an alert from a community chat group in Morningside regarding a house break-in on Waller Road.
Whilst proceeding towards Waller Road, the Specialized Response Officer noticed a suspect running into the nearby bushes.
The officer gave chase, and with the assistance of another local security company, Cheeky Security, the suspect was taken out of bush and apprehended.
The stolen items were handed over to the owner, and the suspect was handed over to SAPS
