Earlier today, at approximately 11.45am, Pro Secure SRU was standing off near Malvern KFC, the officers were approached by a male who informed them of a suspicious male opposite Bluff Meats with a firearm.
A description of the suspect was given and the officers immediately proceeded to the location, upon arrival they noticed the suspicious male and managed to apprehend him with the assistance of some of Malvern CPF members,a firearm was recovered in the process.
SAPS Malvern was called out to the scene and detained the suspect.
