Pro Secure teams were hot on the heels of criminals last night, making 2 vehicle recoveries within the Durban area.
In the 1st incident, an existing Pro client from the Malvern area had their gate derailed and a Toyota Dyna Truck stolen from their driveway.
Members were immediately informed of the incident and all units were mobilized in search of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was being tracked in the direction of Kwa Mashu. Our Specialized Response Units followed the coordinates and managed to successfully recover the vehicle; the suspects fled prior to our members arriving on scene. The vehicle was handed over to SAPS.
In a 2nd incident this morning, Pro Secure members received an alert on a local WhatsApp group regarding a home invasion in Khawarstan, Chatsworth. The resident was held up by 3 assailants whilst exiting his driveway, they thereafter managed to gain access into his home before removing various electronic devices and driving off with 2 vehicles, a Toyota Corolla and Renault Captur.
Our Specialized Response Units were in search of the suspects and managed to locate the Renault Captur in Sunset Avenue, Chatsworth, whilst SAPS and Tracker managed to locate the Toyota Corolla in Savannah Park, Chatsworth.
Well done to the team on their brazen efforts in fighting crime.
